Frequently Asked Questions
Each scissor lift table is elevated using high pressure hydraulic cylinders with honed rams that use their mechanical advantage to push against torsion bars to open the scissor lift mechanism. Maximum capacity with maximum lift travel for minimum effort is achieved.
The length of the scissor lifts platform and number of scissor mechanisms will determine the amount of lift travel available. Edmolift designs optimise this and include the highest travel distances with the shortest possible platforms. Standard Edmolift models have raised heights to 7M.
Our standard range starts at 500kg up to 10,000kg but we can offer bespoke models up to 25,000kg if required. No matter how big or small Edmolift will have a solution for your lifting requirements.
A standard scissor lift table has a deadman type push button control pendant meaning to raise and lower the lift it is "press to run". We also offer more automated systems such as self levelling, and PLC operation
